C D I ROLLER FURLER

I AM ASUMING THAT IT IS THE ONE PIECE PLASTIC VERSION. NOT THE OLD MULTIPLE METAL PIECES. YOU ORDER THE LENGTH THAT IS THE NEXT SIZE LONGER, IN THIS CASE YOU GET THE 29 FOOT. CUT IT TO LENGTH. RE MOVE THE TOP BLACK PIECE, WHERE YOUR HALYARD GOESE THRU,AND SEPERATE IT AT THE DRUM.SO YOU ARE ONLY LEFT WITH THE MIDDLE PIECE, WHERE THE SAIL RIDES. THAT IS THE MEASUREMENT YOU WANT. NOT THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY.

thanks for the quick response. yes it was the one piece PVC model. it had a terrible warp that would not come out (was stored wrong i guess, previous owner). got to aggresive in trying to straighten and bango. i'll sleep better tonight at least knowing which one i have to order. thanks again jim. bob

I would contact CDI directly.

I, as the average ambitious American that I am cut my FF4 foil about 10 " short. I called and discussed this with them and they not only gave me a fair deal ($) replacing it but great advice that doesn't come in the directions. I love their furler and they are great to work with. phone # 978-371-5508 r.w.landau
