cdi flex furler for oday 20

Does anyone out there know which cdi flexible furlers i can use on my 1978 oday 20? I need to order one this week and I am not near the boat to check my headstay wire size or turnbuckle pin diameter. Is it FF1 or the FF2 or can either work?

Sorry for taking up your time, but i was looking for some specific information from an owner of an oday 20 who has had experience with the cdi furler and may know some answers to my questions. By the way, since you indicated "us" in your reply, are you a spokesperson for everyone else on the web site?

the 'us' refers to information which , while perhaps true, would not make any difference in any warranty work you may be in need of, later, that could be based on what any of us may tell you to do. after all these years, forestays may have been upgraded, turnbuckle brands changed, etc. to base your purchase on what ever any of us may have on our boats is not a good idea. am sure there are many who will tell you whether they like of would buy again, it does not matter if a O'day 20 or a mac 20 or a catalina 20. am not the 'spokesperson' of the group, but nobody else has said anything either...did not meat to offend.

Understood, no offense taken. Yes your points are credible. I was just looking for the person who might have had the original setup items as i am the second owner and know the first owner who hadnt changed those parts.
