Hello all, I have a 95 H26 and a I am starting to put together my wish list for this year. Besides new tires for the trailer and new batteries for the electrical system I was looking at a new jib and a CDI furler. I've looked at some of the instructions but was wondering does anyone have some pictures of a CDI installed. It's my understanding that I don't have to modify the headstay so I'm trying to figure out how all this works. Currently I just have a hanked on jib. Thanks Jason

Furler

Jason, I just bought a new H260 with the CDI furler and had to install it mostly myself. I can get you some photos or you can go to www.sailcdi.com for the installation manual. I'm not sure if you have to shorten the forestay but I can share my experience with it. I had a hanked-on headsail for years with my MacGregor. After you read the online installation manual, let me know if I can help you further. I recommend a Spinlock clutch instead of a cleat to secure the furling line. It works perfectly. I've included the link to CDI's manual. David Hoch S/V Abundance

Thanks

I had not seen this pdf before. I'll read it tonight and see if I'm less confused. I've got some time on my hands until the boat comes out of storage. Jason
