I believe Teacher 63 is looking for the size and length of sheet that attaches to the CLEW. I believe on most small boats using a CDI Furler, the DRUM line is 1/4 inch and the lines or sheets that attach to the clew are 1/2 inch. When older they seem to look like 5/8th due to the constant swelling when wet and drying out. Just my basic knowledge, right or wrong? As for the length, you will need to figure out how much four or five wraps around your furled sail, plus the distance from there to your winch, plus three wraps around the winch and then add 5 foot at a minimum. This times two, Port and Starbord Sheets. This size can vary based on preference and comfort for single handed sailing. Always best to have more than you need than less.
Again in my experience and not necessarily correct!
