After some redo I put my O'Day 20 in the water on 8/20 and then discovered that the CB wouldn't go down. Prior to launching I did inspect the keel and the space around the board and it looked okay-since it was on a trailer thats all the inspection I could do. I put a 3/8 inch steel rod down the pendant shaft and tapped a few times with a hammer but no movement. Other than going under and checking that way, does anyone have any ideas--thanks Bill

since i do alot of diving, i'd just go under with a stick or bar and see if i cold pry it down. could be seaweed or other crud holding it up. then again, if the bar didn't work....
Quite often, if you leave the line slack, and motor for awhile, the board will come down. Especially if it was working fine before your project . Good luck.
