Caulk for shower enclosure with teak trim

Is there any reason I shouldn’t use GE Silicone to re-caulk my shower enclosure? The existing caulk has separated and is leaking.

The surround is molded plastic panels with some wood trim in places.

I would think that should work OK. I would treat it like a shower enclosure in a house.
