2006 Catalina 387 Deck Light has been replaced twice. Falls out after about 2 years. I believe it is a Forspar two pin halogen in a cone shaped lens. I'd like to replace with a LED but would also want it to stay in. As I recall the lens was just a pressed in plastic piece. Suggestions?

The forespar light does have a pressed in plastic lense. It is a source of water retention in the light. Potential corrosion. AquaSignal does not use a lense. There is an led bulb for this light. It is a two bulb light. Steaming and deck light. Just in stalled one. Works great.
Replaced the AquaSignal twice on our C30 for the same reason, no lens and after a season or two the halogen just falls out. 3rd try I replaced with one of these http://www.sailorssolutions.com/index.asp?page=ProductDetails&Item=LEDSTEAM02
