catalina 38

I am in the market for a used sailboat and am not clear on the different sailing properties of the Catalina line. I am looking in the 34-38 ft. range and recently saw a 1983 38 footer in very nice shape. I liked the look and features of this boat but have no information on how it sails or whether it had flaws that I should be aware of.

just bought

I just bought a 38 last week, and have researched the 38 model. If you want a great boat for the price better buy it. It's fast, pretty, cheap and seaworthy as anything out there plus it's a S&S design can't get any better.
