catalina 38

I am considering to purchase a 1985 Catalina 38, classic S&S design.. Is the S&S design different than the conventional production models or would anyone have any further information to share on this model?ThanksPete

Hi Pete -I think there's more room in my Catalina 36, but I like the lines of the C38 and she sails faster. Big strong double spreader rig and classic IOR design with pinched stern and exaggerated tumblehome sides.... personally I like the look of the older 38s. I'm sure you'll get input from C38 owners forthcoming (Reviews and photos can be found at Related link below).Best,Trevor
