Has anyone removed the Hurth transmission from a Catalina 36 MkII without removing the engine from the boat and without removing the boat from the water?? It appears that it might be possible to rotate the transmission about the input shaft enough to clear the drive flange on the propeller shaft. Any account of actual experience will be appreciated.
