I recently discovered AGAIN that diesel is lighter than water and the way I discovered this is my engine stopped and I discovered that water filled my engine fuel system from the tank. This destroyed the Injector pump and injectors on my 320!!!!
During the investigation of this problem,I disconnected the fuel line to the Racor and drained it until fuel came from the hose again.
So the question I have is,Is the diesel tank outlet above the bottom of the tank (implying that there might still be water in the bottom of the tank) or is it at the bottom and I have drained the water?
Also has anyone with the 320 had the experience of draining and cleaning the tank? Any advice would be great!
Thanks
