I don't like the main sail sheeting system on my 2000 320. If I use one of the winches to sheet in, the sheets don't line up with the jam cleats. I do have a dodger which complicates things a bit. Has anyone designed a better system?
My 2000 34 has the same arrangement. It doesn't seem to bother me because I just keep the sheets on the winch. I don't even use the jam cleats. I would rather keep the sheets on the winch because I feel they can inadvertantly come off the jam cleats. I think the jam cleats were put on by Catalina to be used while "racing". Roc
