Catalina 309 windless issue

Dear all, we dropped anchor a few times this year and my maxwell 500 in our anchor locker started acting up. Asked the Mariana to take a look at it and they were perplexed on how to get to it. Anyone else have a maxwell 500 in their anchor locker on their catalina? My boat is a 2008 catalina 309.

Can you show a photo and just some info from when my windless was making crazy noise when using.
Look up the manual for your model on the internet and also usually need to go into the vee berth and take apart cabinet to get to windless motor and check for good connections on wires and some times corrosion will make for problems and also took the top apart raising it up just so to add a lub grease
down on shaft and do this every few years to prevent the salt water from causing problems.
I do this every few years but should do every year in salt water boating,
hope this helps and where the windless is on a boat always wants to collect
corrosion.
