i am considering buying an 82 catalina 30 with a universal 5411 that has a bent connecting rod. what are my options as far as repowering vs. rebuilding. I will be doing the work myself.
Unless this boat is in very good condition with lots of extras pass her by. Minimum cost on replacing your 5411 diesel with a new one is around 7 grand with you doing all the work.Check with Marine diesel direct for prices.
