Catalina 30 Gennaker

I'm looking to add a gennaker (cruising spinnaker/asymmetrical spinnaker) to my sail inventory. Does anyone know what is the max sail area the C30 will handle safely? I believe north sails recommends their "Gen42" for the Catalina 30 which is 710sq/ft, I don't want to get one and then wish I had gotten a bigger one.

Check out http://www.catalinayachtstore.com. They sell a Doyle UPS and a Doyle asym for the C30. That should give you the recommended size. They also have a bundle with a retractable bow sprit, top down furler, and UPS.

They're always in the Catalina booth at the boat shows. Nice folks and they know their products.
