Catalina 30 Engine compartment

I've been looking online at Catalina 30's(early nineties). Where is the engine access? How easy to get to things?

All C 30's have the engine mounted a midships, directly beneath the galley sink cabinet & L shaped setee. It makes a lil' more noise & vibration in the cabin when running then an aft mounted engine, but access is excellent. There is a hatch cover over the motor when the seat cushion is removed, a forward swing out teak cover at the front, right, and rear of the engine, so access is excellent. This placement is the best for weight distribution, but it does make the engine oil pan more succeptable to corrosion from the bilge water beneath it. Most of em are all still running if they've been maintained, but the Atomic 4 gas motors are getting up there in age by now. Early 90's C 30 should have the Universal 25xp, a good engine.
