Catalina 30 Conversion Help

Can anyone give me some insight as to how the veritcal cold machine will fit my 1982 Catalina 30? If you have made the converion, where did you locate the compressor? How well does the vertical evaporator fit the ice box? How do you like the conversion, and what kind of electrical consumption are you experiencing? Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated. Little help

I have a 86 year 30 that came with refriguration. The compressor is located under the quarter birth behind the fuel tank. A piece of wood was glassed to the hull to mount it on.The frig is on the port side behind the stove under the cotpit. The evaporator is mounted to the stern side, fits well. It works well. Power consumption will probably be less with a newer unit. I can almost keep up with the wind generator. Hope this helps
