Catalina 30 buckling at aft lower shroud

I am looking at purchasing a 1978 Catalina 30. Apparently the owner tightened the aft lower shrouds too tight and it cracked the starboard knee (wooden brace inside which has chainplate attachments). It also buckled the liner by the nearby port. Aside from redoing the rigging and replacing the cracked knee, is there something else to be concerned about? Can the buckling be repaired? Look elsewhere

Hard to tell for sure from you picture if this this is the full extent of the damage....I suspect not. Anything can be fixed, for a price. And will it be up to your expectations. And what about resale value later on... Unless it is a steal, walk away...there are too many good Cat 30's out there.
