Catalina 27

Anyone have any thoughts on the Catalina 27? I may have an opportunity for a deal on a 1985 model with an 18-horsepower diesel inboard. I would likely sail it on Lake Champlain and would be using it primarily for weekend day sails and overnights. Mostly just the admiral and I. We currently sail an Oday 23 on Lake George. I've sailed a Catalina 22 but have not sailed on any Catalinas larger than that. I'm interested in opinions on the Catalina 27s for sailing performance (low-intensity lake sailing, that is), comfort, and ease of maintenance.

Catalina 27 - Great Boats
