I've read several entries about the aluminum windows on older Cataina 27's. In 1985 Catalina changed to flush mounted plexiglass windows. Question...how well do these hold up. This looks to be the first year for Catalina to be using this style window. Are they any better, or any worst than the original aluminum style? Are they easy to service?

Our 1986 flush windows are still in place. Needed to rebedded once, a lot easier job than the old style aluminum frames which required removal to seal leaks.
