I have a Catilina 27 - (1985) I cant find the pump out "valve" - not on deck as show in scimatic that I have , could it be in the anchor locker on the bow? I followed a 2 plus inch from the holding tank to the anchor locker- has a hatch( threaded) . I just bought this boat and am trying to figure out the plumbing system. The pump-out fitting for the holding tank is located in the bottom of the anchor locker in my 87' Catalina 27. It is a roughly 3 inch diameter black plastic cap labeled waste. The cap has an eight pointed star shaped hole which accepts a winch handle. The winch handle is used to unscrew the cap.
My 84 model has it at the bottom of the anchor locker, don't ask me why. It is under all the anchor rope. Seems like a bad idea, I only found it on one of the rare days I had the anchor out and went up to the locker to clean it out. Being covered with wet rope doesn't seem like a good way to vent. I'm guessing you have same set up.
