Catalina 27 Boat Trailer

Trailers without boats are as rare as hen's teeth. (Will might be able to tell me the derivation of that expression).
We don't know if you are looking to trailer sail this boat at different locations, or looking to transport it to store in the off season, or deliver it to a new location or whatever else.
For the first I think buying a new custom trailer is best. For the second you might be able to modify an existing trailer by welding up a cradle - the cradle could even be wood. For the third hire a boat transporter - their hydraulic trailers will make short work of this.
Search past threads ... 27 ' has been talked about as near the limit of trailerable sailing.

The Catalina 27 is a very nice boat. As @shemandr asked, what is your plan for the trailer usage?

Scarce as hens teeth - not sure of the derivation but hens don't have teeth so there is that....

The phrase originated in 19th-century American English, drawing on the biological fact that hens lack teeth, to create a memorable metaphor for extreme rarity - as @dLj points out.

Then there is , As rare as rocking horse sh#t.
Back on topic, Blueminds.
Unfortunately, boat trailers have a pretty short life, especially if used in salt water.
So, there will be no originals around anymore.
The second unfortunate thing is that new trailers are more expensive than the value of the boat. So not many people build new.
You options are to build yourself, convert a pretty heavy weight car carrier trailer or have the boat moved professionally.
When you think of this boat loaded with gear (batteries, anchor and all sorts of other stuff) you are looking at a really heavy load.
