catalina 27/30 good seakeepers?

could someone tell me somthing of the seakeeping abilitys of catalina 27 and 30 i am interested in an extended holiday and collecting one from USA. catalinas seem well layedout/good interior set up and would be ideal for cruising the mediterranean any advice or information on helpfull websites would be most appreciated. tyregeezer@aol.com

Catalina 30

Steve; I had a C-30 for five years. They're great boats, you can't go wrong buying one. They sail well, have a huge interior, look great and hold their value.

C27 in Wind & Weather

My C27 tends to wnt to bury the rail in 20 Knots of wind. I got caught in a storm of 20+ Knots of wind, waves 4-6 feet. There was not an inch of the boat inside & out that was not wet. But I never felt unsafe in the boat.
