I am interested in getting a boat I can trailer and (when weather permits) take on a leg like to the Bahamas. Can anyone let me know if they think a 25' catalina with a swing keel is up to it? Thanks
Sure! If the weather and seas are right you can go in a 12 footer. That's the key to proper planning and making the trip. Remember, "small craft" warnings by the Coast Guard refers to all boats under 65 feet in length.
