I am modifing a powerboat trailer to carry my 1984 swing-keel Catalina 22. I need to know what the height and width of the bunks are in relation to the keel roller. Any help is appreciated. Vic

C22 Bunk measurements are not that easy

to identify! My C22 bunk style trailer has eight 2X4 boards for bunks. The bunk supports are self aligning. They can swivel side-side & fore-aft to match the contour of the hull. This trailer does not have a keel roller. It does have a pad to support the keel when it is cranked down. It has a rubber bow chock close to the winching eyebolt. Bob B. 1980 C22

Vic, You have probably figured out by now that everyones trailer is a bit different. I made mine and used a few measurements from the orginal trailer used by Catalina. That said I made my bunk support hight adjustable. I hope these measurements help you. From the outside edge of the frame the forwards are 16" to center, the middle are set at 11 1/4" to center, and the rear are set at 7 1/4" from the outside edge to center of bolster. Don't be surprized if you have to move them. The trailer I took measurements from allowed the rear of mine to be to far out, I cut them loose and set them in another three inches.
