Catalina 22 MKII or C25 WB?

I haven't sailed either the catalina 22 MKII swing keel or C25 water ballast, so, my question is:

Were you to buy one of these which one would you pick and why?

As i said I haven't sailed either, but, I would assume the 22 MKII to be the better sailor and the c25 to be more comfrotable on the hook for the night.

I don't know much about water ballast systems so that would make me nervous.

Your own answers are correct.

My best sailing friend had a new C250 and sold it for a new Com-Pac 25 to stay on and an older San Juan 21 to sail on.

Are you going to leave it in the water or trailer it? C22 be much easier to trailer. Ask your questions on the forums for the two boats. Many C25/250 owners have owned C22s:
