if you trailer
go swing, i thought that i would trailer the wing keel but it hasnt worked out that way . and i know its simply the pain of launching/retrieving. despite tongue extensions and tow straps ect. i single hand its enough work without worrying about getting the boat on and off the trailer. especially if there is no finger pier to walk out on and float the boat off and on . seriously the six inch draft difference makes a big difference a ramp with a 10 :1 slope. which is what army corps ramps are. that translates to roughly 1 foot farther down the ramp for every inch extra in height of the trailer. if you have the marina lift you get the fin or the wing. fin would be better performance but i didnt think the mkII came in a fin. but im not sure. good luck(by the way with the wing keel the rudder still hangs another 6"deeper than the keel so the rudder hits bottom first.) something to think about .
