I guess there a lot of us who have a reluctant sailing partner. All this "healing" over stuff and salt water in your eye. Thinking of buying a cat to encourage the missus to come sailing but are they really a yacht or just a large caravan on water. I mean to say the traditional sailing yacht with her sails full. What a sight!

Bareboated a cat for that reason
Bareboated a 38' Leopard in the BVI a few years ago, in 20-25 I'll bet we did not heal more than 5 degrees, although I did notice some porpoising sp? motion in following seas, which made my son sick the second day. Terrific space, but finding a slip could be difficult, or expensive. But it kept the family happy, and I got to sail, so it was a very good experience for all.
