I posted this in the O'Day specific forum, but I am reposting here b/c the questions are of a general nature and this forum gets more traffic. I hope that no one minds. I have been doing extensive work on my 1973 O'Day 22, "Cassidy". I have a blog dedicated to the restoration (link below) that I have just updated after a four month hiatus. Anyway, I know that some of you are interested in repairs/restoration work similar to what I am doing, so you might want to check it out. I am open to your feedback and can even fill you in on some important "lessons learned" on this project. A couple of quick questions for the gallery: 1)Anyone know where I can find four wire deck connectors (like the Perko fittings), I can easily locate the two wire connectors but I would like to combine the masthead and anchor light wires into one connector. 2)Has anyone installed a topping lift on an O'Day 22 or similar boat? I know that I will need to drill a new hole in the masthead and install a pin and block. I am wondering how people have rigged this so that the line does not interfere with the main halyard, chafe the sail or interfere with the boom end/outhaul. Thanks in advance! This forum is such a wonderful resource! Cheers, Josh

Connector...

Josh, If you want to run two lights through a connector then you only need three terminals. Two for the switched hot wire, and one common terminal for a ground that can run to both lights. the link below is to a four terminal connector that may work for you.

Thanks

Brilliant! Thanks, I guess that I gave away the fact that I am no electrical engineer. :)
