Carpet Replacement

I am interested to know if anyone is aware of a carpet source for a 1993 Catalina 28? Our present carpet is showing it's age and I need to think of replacing it. I have specific interest in sources other than Catalina.

I went to Home Depot

I have a C-30 & I got a remnant carpet for $65 that I cut out myself using my old carpet. For $35 a local carpet cleaning place bound up the edges so it wouldn't frey & I had a great burbur custom-cut carpet for about $100 bucks.Allen Schweitzers/v DrambuieC-30 Hull #632

I'm thankful my boat came with a gorgeous custom wool carpet (must have cost a pretty penny!) but that's the way I'd go if I had to. LaDonna

Need a Binder

Allen, I am trying to implement the same solution you described, but I have been unable to locate someone to do the binding. Your comment of using a carper cleaner may be the ticket! Thanks.

Try any carpet retailer...

We found one who was more than happy to take our old carpet and use it for a pattern. We got a nice synthetic commercial carpet cut and bound for a little over a $100 and it was ready in less than a week.
