I have owned my catalina 25' tall rig, fixed keel for a little over 3 years. I live in the virgin islands and have done a lot of fair weather day sailing in the area. I am just thinking about expanding my horizons and going a bit farther, either down the eastern caribbean, or possibly even heading west to the DR and was wondering what passages other 25 owners have made, and what problems they came up against and maybe any advice on proper boat preparations(ie sea anchors, etc.)
