I've given a badly treated vessel to mend. Currently, installing an outboard motor bracket from Garelick for aux power (10 hp) do to the Plamer 60 engine having blown the head gasket. Any horror stories are appreciated for the engine overhaul. Presently, the vessel resides in San Diego @ Shelter Cove Marina:cry:

I have replaced the head gaskets (2) on our Atomic 4 with the engine still in the engine compartment. It was not that difficult.
