I was so impressed by the responses to my question about deck leaks that I've decided to tap your wisdom again. When bottom cleaning time comes, I have a choice. I can take the boat about 80 kms to the club, pay $30 for a haul-out and work like mad to get it done in a day, or I can take it 1 km to the beach in front of my house, put it on its side as the tide goes out, clean and paint one side and then repeat next day. I've done two other boats there without problem, but I thought I'd get opinions from Hunter owners. Any problems putting a 31 on its side? Or would you suggest using sea legs? (which always worries me, although I've done that a couple of times as well.) Thanks in advance.
