Just a bought my first sailboat a 1994 Catalina 27' sailboat in Waukegan ILL and I need to get it to Holland MI. I'm looking for a captain that would be interested in taking it across Lake Michigan to Holland Mi. Can anyone recommend a site or company that can assist with my search?

Go to one of the local yacht clubs, and if they have a bulletin board, post an ad. You should be able to locate a reputable individual who would be willing to take that trip. Many people on both sides of the lake have made similar trips on a number of occasions. If they really know the lake, they will be cognizant of weather conditions and schedule accordingly. The lake can get ugly in a hurry.
