Hull Number
We have a Catalina 30, so the location may well be different. However, when we attempted to make a rubbing of our number, it was so faint that we had to shine a flashlight onto it at a very shallow angle to even see it at all. It was much too faint to make any kind of adequate rubbing! Ours was on the stbd side of the transom, immediately below the hull/deck joint. Does anyone know if it's legal to use a Dremel tool or whatever to deepen the number? Regards, Gary Kunkel
