Cap for Waste Pumpout on O'Day 28??

Does anyone know where I can get one of those black plastic caps for the waste pumpout on my 1983 O'Day 28. It says 1 & 1/2 on the bottom of the cap but only a 2 inch cap comes close to fitting although not perfectly. Please help. Thanks in advance.

What is the black plastic cap used for?

Ray,I'm trying to figure out where the black plastic cap is used. 1-1/2" is the standard size for the waste line from the head to the holding tank, but where is there a black cap? And what is it used for? I'm not trying to answer your question. I sail a 272 and can't for the life of me picture a plastic cap anywhere in the waste system. Help me out.Thanks

I too have an 83 O'Day 28. Great boat. I am assumeing that you are referring to the cap for the deck fitting. If so, I may have several spares. I will check and let you know. If I do, will be happy to send one along to you.

I was trying to conjure up a pipe cap made of PVC or ABS. Now it all makes sense. Aren't replacements available through WM or BoatUS?
