I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
Anyone know of a canvas repair shop near Colonial Beach, VA? I have a cover for my companionway hatch that had the snaps torn out of it (just need to stich a piece of material on that side and put new snaps in). I would also like to have the zipper in my bimini cover re-configured so that I don't have to take my Bimini apart to put the cover on (need to put a place in the bimini cover so that it will go around the backstay). Does anyone have any idea on around how much this type of work will cost? One other quick thought......I have been having a tough time finding a mainsail cover for my boat in burgandy that isn't horribly expensive. Anyone have any suggestions of where I can get a new mainsail cover for a descent price (mine is about in tatters). Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey Bad Got one for you

There is a guy from Port Toabacco that has a mobile canvas shop. He has come to Cobb Island many times. Did some repair work for me and found him very resonable. I will need to get his name and phone number for you. I'm laying up in bed with the laptop and it's to cold to get up..... :) Jim S/V Java

Got a sewing machine?

That is the least expensive way to get that kind of work done.
