Canvas hatch covers for Lewmar hatches on a 33.5

I have a 1993 Hunter 33.5 that has Lewmar hatches and canvas covers for the hatches.The covers appear to be,"off the shelf".The covers are getting frayed and I am looking for replacements.Any info is appreciated.Patrick

Different Material

I replaced my companionway canvas with a rubberized waterproof material. (1985 Hunter 31) The cost for the material was the same as Sunbrella (sp?) and wore well. I got 9 years out of my first one, just replaced it with a twin last summer.Let me know if you want pictures.

Chandlery

Patrick, I spent weeks trying to find hatch covers 'off the shelf' with no luck. I called Sara Johnson in the chandlery (this site) and she got me a quote and placed the order with a canvas shop to have them made. Very kind /very helpful folks. Good luck.
