John, I have a '94 23.5 and I have a persian green main cover. I think it is original. It does not have the Hunter Logo on it. If yours has the logo on it it may be something other than persian green. Below is a link for a sunbrella dealer that will send you sunbrella color swatches for $1.00 each. It would be worth it to avoid a mismatched sun cover for your jib.

My 95 H23.5 was 7 years old when I bought it. The green mainsail cover has a North Sails logo on it. I assumed the original got replaced by the original owner for some reason, but I'll never know. A sailing buddy just bought a 95 H26 that came with a blue cover with Hunter logo. I just recently had UV protection added to my furling jib. Instead of Sunbrella I went with 4oz white Dacron that both has adhesive and is sewn on. North Sails in Vancouver suggested this for various reasons. It's cheaper and my sail is 10 years old anyway, but it's also lighter for those who don't like the weight of the heavier Sunbrella. Being white, it doesn't clash with the green mainsail cover. I haven't been able to launch the boat for the season yet so I don't know if it behaves any differently. ...RickM...
