The dinette table on our 376 came with a pin mechanism to lock the table in place. However, the stainless steel post that the table rests on did not have a hole for the pin to fit into. I tried drilling into the post with a 21/64 drill bit, but the pin still did not catch on anything. Has anyone had any luck locking the table in place using the drill mechanism? Thanks.

loose tables

on my 376 the post does not have a hole either. i added a few washers to the bolt so that i could really tighten down on it. Works ok, but wish it were done right.

Me Too!

Now that you mention it, my Hunter 380 does not have a hole to lock the table either. Does Hunter have a manufacturing problem? Thanks for the reminder-must call the dealer and have him rectify the matter. Fair winds! Howard

Got 2

My 1998 had a hole for the pin, but it was in the wrong place. The dealer drilled a new one.

Spring loaded Pin is ......

useless. I guess if you decide where you like it to be, then you can provide yourself with a custom fit. I'll need to try the washer trick also. Mike D Media, PA s/v Serenity H376

Hole Size in Post

The hole measures 7/16" in the post. If you have to drill, file off any ridge caused by drilling. Again, lining up the pin with the hole takes a little patience. But it will slip in. I used a little Sail Kote spray to make it easier to maneuver.
