I am traveling to the north channel of Lake Huron this summer. I will be trailering my '92 Mac 26s up through Michigan State, crossing the Mackinac Bridge and the Sault Ste Marie International Bridge on into Canada, traveling along the Trans-Canadian Highway and launching from the Gore Bay marina.
Are there any different regulations for trailering or boating in Canadian waters? Are there any "Must see" sights, I really have no float plan as of yet, but I am planning on sailing east from Gore Bay through the islands.
Are there any issues at the border with trailering a boat? I comply with all US DOT, DNR, and USCG regulations...I just do not want any surprises.
I am looking for any advice/suggestions as well,
Thanks in advance,
