They are all pretty much the same. Remove the handle, pop off the cover and the mechanism will be there. Four screws hold the shifter to the pedestal.
At one time, there were Morse and Telex cables, now the cables have interchangeable end fittings, thus they are universal. Printed on the cable will be a series of numbers which specify the length.
The mechanism will look more or less like this:
The transmission cable will attach to one of the ears. The throttle cable will attach to the cam on back of the mechanism.
The most finicky part of the job is getting the transmission cable adjusted correctly. If the cable is not adjusted correctly the transmission may not fully shift into or out gear causing the clutch to slip and wear out or leaving the boat in gear when the shift lever is in neutral.
