Can the keel survive low water in the slip ie grounding

Just wondering about the structure of the led shot encapsulated keel of a 1979 9.2c
Can it bare much of the weight in the slip during a very low tide event which we have up here in round bay.

it should be ok if you have your lines secure to keep the boat balanced upright...mine is sitting on the keel on hard concrete now and has been for 5 years ...mine is a little bow heavy so i have a stand under the center of the bow and stands along the sides the balance it

The bottom of the keel is pretty thick. Mine has grounded a couple of times with no damage but the yard put a couple of chips in it. It is easily 1/4 inch thick as i recall. I wouldn't worry about a soft grounding.

Due to the size of the keel it is better suited thsn most boats to take its own weight.
