Can Sikens cetol be removed?

I have used the product with great sucess. Never needed to remove it but wondered if anyone has removed multi coats. I have sold the boat I used it on so I don't know if it is a issue to remove. Sailing _/) is not a matter of life or death,,,It's more important than that.

All you need to do is sand it.

I used Cetol for more than 10 years. Each spring I would lightly "sand" the wood with fine bronze wool to remove the top coats and any dings or scratches...then applied two new coats. That eliminated the buildup of coat on top of coat that turns Cetol opaque and "orange." My wood looked like first year every year. If you have to remove multiple coats, just sand 'em all off. The wood will still be sealed...apply a couple more coats...and it'll look just like new again.
