Can I use Rust-Oleum Gloss Paint on non-skid?

That’s just it. The old cockpit floor was a very light blue and was so hot to stand on yesterday. After it was painted white and I could stand on it, it wasn’t hot at all

You don't want to use a gloss paint on any nonskid surface as it will be slippery when wet underfoot and you want keep the crew on board. There are a lot of easy to apply nonskid deck paints on the market. Why screw around with Rustoleum? Interdeck is by Interlux. That's a good one.

I used a semi gloss with the added sand. I used a gloss on the outsides. If it turns out to be a problem I’ll repaint it. Thanks
