can boat be sailed with pop top up?

I have always sailed my pop top boats with the top up when appropriate. My 25-26 length boats could be sailed with the boom vang attached. Needless to say, if the weather isn't calm then top down. Chief
That is a choice you need to make. In good weather possibly as long as it is tied off but in rough weather my friend, put it down without excuse; otherwise damage and/or injury will occur. Former dealer experience advising but the decision is yours as we cannot be there to advise at that time.
Don't know the specific design of your boat, but I have sailed lots of boats with pop tops and they were all designed to be sailed with the top up. But, as stated, if the weather gets nasty and you are vulnerable to waves finding their way below, best to lower it and lock it down.
