I am shopping for a starter boat and found a nice looking 1991 Sovereign 16 at a dealer. I can find no information at all about this boat except the manufacturer went out of business in 1991. The boat looks like its built well but I would really like to hear some feedback if anyone is familiar with it. And it is 16', open dinghy. Thanks.

Are you interested in this one? http://www.sailboatlistings.com/view/22124 looks pretty good... a little buffing will brighten up that blue gel coat.... If the one you're considering looks as good as this one I'd go for it. Should be a lot of fun to sail... perfect for single handing or double handed racing or a nice picnic boat for a small family.
