Dan, I sailed the 216 at Sail Expo here in St.Pete. Florida.I was so impressed that I put a down payment on one.Very fast,points well,very large cockpit,draws 1',sailed very nice indeed.The boat I sailed was a fiberglass prototype, when in production in Lyme, Ct.,they will be of the new advanced composite plastic. At first I was somewhat leery about a plastic boat, but have asked around and the stuff seems to work, as all smaller Hunter boats are made of it.The boats, there are 2 of them, are making the boat show circuit right now.Check them out, I was impressed!
