I bought a daysailor without any registration. I have been told it is an Island daysailor. I cannot find any info to that regards. Please find photo from Jib with boat... not sure if it is original... Can you help?

Sail Logo

You can find books with sail logos listed at many book stores. It will be possibble to identify it by that logo only.

sail insignia is good clue

if someone is familiar with the boat, they can identify it by the sail insignia. I think the Yngling is larger and a different logo, so hopefully someone will nail it. If there is a HIN on the transom, you can find the makers abbreviated name on the list of manufacturers after 1972.

Islands 17

Joel, Your boat is an Islands 17 built by the Sumner Boat Company in Amityville, NY. It is virtually identical to the Tanze 16 of which there is some information on the web. These are really good boats and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
