Cambridge MD Route 50 bridge

Has anyone attempted to pass under the Route 50 bridge in Cambridge and if you did what was your mast height? We own a Beneteau 331 with what the manual says is a 48ft mast height (I assume that does not include the antenna and other stuff atop the mast). The Route 50 bridge at Cambridge claims 50ft MHW. I am very wary of attempting this but would like to know if others have tried. Thanks.

The chart shows 50 feet vertical clearance so you should make it easily. The VHF antenna may get scratched if you try and go under at high tide though. Also note that on either side of the swing bridge there are 10 foot "fish haven" obstructions so you might get a 40' to 10' depth change going through.
